Ms. Williams obained her Bachelor's degree in nursing at Herbert h. Lehman, CUNY College and shortly after obtained a Master's degree with a focus in nursing education, also from Lehman College. Her background in nursing is in surgical nursing. After completing her Master's degree, she worked in the field of infection control, where her research interest lies. Her dissertation focus will be on prevention of indwelling catheter related infections in the oncology patient population.
