Russell R. Lynn, CRNA, MSN

Mr. Lynn received his Diploma in Nursing from the Helene Fuld Hospital School of Nursing, his Baccalaureate Nursing Degree from Widener University, his Master’s in Nursing from Temple University, and his certificate in Nurse Anesthesia from the Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia. He has also completed a post master’s certificate in Teacher Education from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing. He is a Certified Registered Anesthetist with over 15 years of critical care, trauma intensive care, and anesthesia experience, including over 10 years of pre-hospital experience. Mr. Lynn has been teaching within the Nurse Anesthesia profession since 2002 both clinically and didactically and currently serves as the Associate Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at Penn. He shares the responsibility for daily management of the program, conducting interviews, advising students, assigning clinical placements, and teaching throughout the program. His research interests include alternative approaches to perioperative blood conservation methods and patient safety.

Mr. Lynn is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Association of Nurse Anesthetists and serves as the Education Chairman for the Association. He is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
