Ms. Nanyonga received her BSN from Arkansas Tech University and her MSN from Baylor University. She currently serves as a Board Member on the Board of Directors at International Medical Group, Uganda (IMG) and is concerned with the overall strategic management of IMG. Her area of research interest is HIV/AIDS, specifically strategies to improve access and quality of care for people living with HIV/AIDS in resource limited settings by: identifying policy strategies or gaps to increase access to HIV medications and interventions, addressing health disparities that hamper evidence based HIV interventions, identifying frameworks/models of care that can be translated or formulated to fit the context of care in resource limited settings, specifically in Sub-Saharan Africa, and examining the linkages between global and domestic policies and their influence on the preparation and capacity of the health work-force to meet national health priorities.
