Nancy K. Manister, BSN, MSN

ManisterNancy completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1978 at Wagner College. She continued her nursing education at Pace University where she earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's Certificate.  Nancy is currently a doctoral student at the City University of New York Graduate Center, where she is working towards completing her dissertation, which focuses on the relations between role stress, eating behavior, and obesity in congregational clergy.  She has received a number of grants and awards including the CUNY Research Grant for Doctoral Students (2008-2009); the Belle Zeller Award (Irwin Polishook Award), doctoral Student (2008-2009); and the Neuman Scholar & PatriciaChadwick Award (June 2011).  Nancy plans to complete her dissertation by the end of the Fall 2011 semester and hopes to continue her studies of eating behaviors and obesity.
