Mary Vann, MSN, APRN, Certified Nurse Midwife

Ms. Vann is a retired Captain in the Navy Nurse Corp, where she served for over twenty-four years. While in the Navy, Ms. Vann served as a Certified Nurse Midwife stateside, as well as in overseas medical facilities. In addition, she was deployed for combat missions in the Persian Gulf during Opertion Iraqi Freedom and on MEDFLAG Humanitarian missions in Algeria, and worked in Navy recruitment. While at the University of San Diego, she has maintained a 4.0 grade point average. Ms Vann's research dissertation will focus on Obstetrical Care in the military population, with the guidance of her Dissertation Chair, Dr. Mary Jo Clark.
