Diane DeJesus received her DNP degree from the University of Miami. She entered nursing in High School, graduating and receiving her L.P.N at the age of 18 years old and went on to receive her Associate Degree in Nursing. Dr. DeJesus went back to school to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Saint Petersburg College and a Master's Degree in Nursing with a concentration in the Clinical Nurse Leader program. Her work experience at a post-surgical unit and then decided to transfer to the emergency room, then the intensive care unit, a triage nurse, and now a Clinical Nurse Leader in a large Veteran's Administration (VA) outpatient clinic. Dr. DeJesus is fluent in both Spanish and English is very rewarding, allowing her the ability to communicate in a second language enhances her capability to reach out to different communities.
