Jesse Honsky, DNP, MPH, RN, APHN-BC

Jesse Honsky, MPH, MSN, RN, APHN-BC is an instructor of nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and serves as the Assistant Director of the BSN Program.  Between 2013 and 2015 she worked as the Program Director of The MetroHealth School Health Program; piloting and expanding a program of primary care clinics that serve public schools in Cleveland. She also has previous nursing experience in public health, home health, and the operating room. Ms. Honsky is currently pursuing her DNP with a focus in public health. Her research interests include public health nursing, school health, and interprofessional education.  She serves as faculty adviser to the Student Run Free Clinic. She has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau International since 2003 and is a past president and member of the Alpha Mu Chapter Board of Directors. In addition to professional activities Ms. Honsky  is very involved in her community and neighborhood. She is the President of the Board of Directors of Larchmere PorchFest, a local non-profit that organizes a free music festival that brings over 5000 people to the Larchmere Neighborhood of Cleveland.
