Jeff DayDr. Jeff Day completed his DNP at the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing in the Gerontologic/Adult Nurse Practitioner track. Since receiving his Associate in Health Science degree in 1990, he has practiced as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings including critical care, electrophysiology studies, student health, travel medicine, and emergency medicine.

In 2013, Dr. Day was awarded a Master of Science degree from New York University. During his time at NYU he was the proud recipient of the Erline Perkins McGriff Scholarship – recognizing students with outstanding leadership potential. Dr. Day has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in an Internal Medicine practice in Manhattan since receiving his ANCC certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Day’s clinical practice interests include care of individuals with HIV, primary care within the LGBTQ community, palliative care, and care of the military veteran population. In addition to his clinical practice, he teaches both graduate and undergraduate students as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the NYU College of Nursing. Dr. Day is extremely grateful to be able to become a Jonas scholar and for the support of the Jonas Center.
