Diana Bradley Jonas III Nurse Leader cohortDiane L. Bradley earned a BSN and MS in Exercise Science from West Virginia University. She also earned a MS in Nursing Education from Walden University. Ms. Bradley’s extensive clinical practice has focused on the care of older adults in a variety of acute and community settings. She taught full time in a senior level Gerontology and Community course for five years at Delaware Technical Community College. She served as coordinator for the Gerontology component of the course for four years. Ms. Bradley also served as chairperson for Nursing Department Program Evaluation Review Committee.

Ms. Bradley’s professional memberships include the Eastern Nurse Research Society, American Nurses Association, Delaware Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, and Greater Philadelphia Chapter of Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. Her certifications include Certified Nurse Educator from National League for Nursing, Gerontology Nurse from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse from Rehabilitation Certification Board and Exercise Specialist from the American College of Sports Medicine.

Ms. Bradley is currently a full time student pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nursing Science at the University of Delaware where her research interests include Gerontology, Nursing Education, and Technology, with a focus on mental health for urban older adults. In 2012, Diane received a Virginia Lee Franklin Fellowship, which prepares the next generation of nurse scientists and nurse educators. She is currently a research assistant on a pilot study involving mental health screening in public housing for urban older adults.
